The AMS Program is an advanced level, critical thinking curriculum designed to elevate good employees into top performers. These critical thinking skills enable employees to make significant improvements in quality, cost and delivery and increase the value proposition for prospective customers. The program includes modules on Advanced Job Processing, Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving Skills and Six Sigma. The program is ideal for individuals and groups leading improvement efforts for their plants such as machinists, CNC programmers, quality technicians, manufacturing technicians, and manufacturing engineers. Participants must complete out of class assignments, including implementing hands-on improvement projects. Employers enrolling students are expected to support and mentor their employees for the implementation of these Lean and Six Sigma projects.
