See below for generic details surrounding the 'Advances in IPM 2017'.

Reducing dependency on pesticides is a huge challenge and will require the best science and the best translation of that science. The government Industrial Strategy must include help for the agricultural sector as it strives to maintain competitive farming, post Brexit, in an economic environment where growers will be even less able to afford major crop losses to pests, weeds and diseases. Over the last decade, the AAB’s conferences covering advances in biocontrol, IPM and biopesticides have become firm fixtures on the UK’s calendar of events. The overall objective has been to create an annual gathering of the UK IPM community at which policy makers, experienced researchers, young scientists and practitioners can detach themselves from their usual day-to-day pressures and become totally immersed in this important subject.

For a more detailed insight including themes and subject areas, please visit the 'Event Information' page - visible in the navigation window on the right-hand side.

The IPM Series of Conferences continues over the 25-26th of September 2017 at Harper Adams University, Newport, Shropshire, UK.
