Are you serving the fastest growing population in the U.S.?

The U.S. older adult population of persons age 65 and older numbered 44.7 million in 2013. This number is growing rapidly and projected to reach about 70 million by 2030. According to the American Association of Retired Persons, nearly 90% of older adults prefer to age in place or live in their homes and communities for a lifetime.

What is your affiliate doing to serve this population? Habitat for Humanity International’s Aging in Place (AIP) Learning Exchange will offer affiliates the tools and knowledge to better serve older adults through a holistic support system. Participants will learn about the evolving concept of AIP and the best practices that make this movement possible. This conference includes face-to-face interactions with AIP experts, partners, service providers and other Habitat affiliates that can help affiliates create or nurture an AIP program.
