Students must have some air conditioning experience before taking this class. It is assumed that all participants know the basics - as covered in Air Conditioning I (Basics). Students will learn how to calculate air flow across an evaporator coil, measure and adjust superheat, select replacement capacitors, wire hard start kits, charge and evacuate familiar and unfamiliar systems, fine tune, and troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration side problems.
