The AIR Institute Certified Catastrophe Modeler™ (CCM™) Program is a comprehensive—and intensive—course created to meet the industry’s growing need for skilled catastrophe risk modelers and managers.

More than just end-user training, the CCM Program explores the inner workings of AIR models to answer  “Why does the AIR software do this?” rather than “How do I do this in the AIR software?” Five full days of classroom and hands-on instruction provide catastrophe risk management professionals with a detailed understanding of the science and statistics that underlie the models, as well as best practices for interpreting and employing model results—knowledge that has become even more critical in today’s environment of increasingly strict regulatory regimes.

Students who complete the program requirements earn recognition as an AIR Institute Certified Catastrophe Modeler (CCM).
