Marketplace

One of the highlights of attending ALADN is the sharing of ideas and learning from our peers. ALADN encourages attendees to share and learn by participating in Marketplace. To add that excitement, this year marks the introduction of a Marketplace Awards Program with competition in a variety of categories.

We are hoping that attendees can submit Marketplace materials electronically and bring a small number to the Conference in Vancouver.

What is the Marketplace?

Marketplace is a designated space for conference goers to see, touch, and collect examples of print and multi-media materials provided byother conference goers. This year's Marketplace will include examples of materials in the following categories:

  • Case Statements
  • Remove Catalogs
  • Collections Materials
  • Friends of the Libraries
  • Library Public Relations Materials

  • Stewardship Materials
  • Podcasts
  • Anything innovative you want to share!

ALADN Marketplace Online

Have some great online materials you want to share? Whether you are able to join us this year for ALADN or not, the online Marketplace is a great way to share what you have learned in communicating with your donors through newsletters, social media, annual reports, and more.

In order to participate in the online Marketplace, please send Elizabeth Armerding (elizabeth.armerding@ubc.ca) links to your hosted documents. Please indicate which category listed above is relevant for each link you provide. All ALADN colleagues will have access to view and browse the online Marketplace, so feel free to share.

See you in Vancouver!
