British journalist Alice Rawsthorn is one of the world's leading design critics. With columns in the International New York Times and Frieze magazine, Rawsthorn explores the many challenges and opportunities that define design's role in our lives today.Rawsthorn's latest book, Hello World, chronicles her many years of research and reporting on the state of design past, present, and future. She regularly speaks at important global events such as TED and annual meetings for the World Economic Forum. Based in London, Rawsthorn is a trusted cultural advisor who served as trustee on Arts Council England from 2007 to 2013. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Order of the British Empire for services to design and the arts.
