Friday, November 18, 2016
This activity is being brought to you by the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute along with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and Wisconsin Geriatric Education Center.
The Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute is offering a webcast in order to meet the increasing popularity and demand for their conference and to minimize travel time and expense for attendees in the Northland. This webcast will come to you live from the conference being held at The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison.
This conference is intended for primary care physicians, psychologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers and other health professionals who diagnose, treat and manage Alzheimer's disease and related disorders in diverse populations and who care and provide support for those affected.
There are more than 5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s disease affecting the lives of 15 million unpaid caregivers. There is a heightened need for medical professionals as well as policymakers to address the specter of an increasing prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease in an aging society. The goal of this conference is to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capability of healthcare providers who care for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
