Henry is based in TIMET's Toronto, OH facility which is geographically and structurally located in the middle of TIMET's global supply chain. He has held various positions in Production Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Marketing in his 25 year tenure at TIMET.
He currently serves as Vice President of the ITA and chairman of the Aerospace Committee. This fall he will become President of the ITA and chairman of the Membership committee.
Prior to coming to TIMET, Henry spent six years at U. S. Steel Corporation in Sales, Marketing and Production Planning. His educational background includes a Masters Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and a Bachelors Degree from Duke University in Durham, NC. Henry is a native of Pittsburgh and continues to reside in Western Pennsylvania.
Albert BRUNEAU is Executive VP of Neotiss High Performance Tube (formerly Vallourec) since 2013. Neotiss, headquartered in France, is the worldwide leader of titanium and stainless steel welded tubes for heat exchangers, with facilities and sales forces based in five countries on three continents: France, United States, China, India and Korea.
Prior to Vallourec Heat Exchanger Tubes, Albert Bruneau has held numerous senior sales & marketing management positions within Vallourec group mainly for the Oil & Gas industry, involved in Europe, South America, Africa and Middle East.
Albert Bruneau graduated from French Engineering School ESPCI and conducted one Executive MBA at the French Business School HEC.
He has significant experience in the titanium industry, having had held positions in sales, distribution, product management, market research and forecasting at Titanium Metals Corporation from 1986 to 2003 before joining VSMPO. Mike graduated from Hamilton College in 1981 with a BA in economics, and from Carnegie – Mellon University in 1983 with an MBA
As Chief Operating Officer, Eric oversees operations for Arconic Power and Propulsion, a global leader in advanced nickel airfoils, and nickel and titanium structural castings for aero engines and industrial gas turbines, and Arconic Titanium and Engineered Products, a global leader in engineered titanium products for the aerospace, defense, and oil and gas markets. Eric continues as President of Arconic Defense, which develops new technologies for military applications across air, land and sea. The three businesses are part of the Engineered Products and Solutions segment, which is primarily focused on aerospace. In addition to these roles, Eric is a member of the Arconic Executive Council, the senior leadership group that sets strategic direction for the company, and he sits on the Board of Directors of AlTi Forge, the production joint venture between Arconic and VSMPO in Samara, Russia.
Prior to the separation, Eric served as Chief Operating Officer, Alcoa Investment Castings, Forgings and Extrusions in Alcoa's Engineered Products and Solutions segment, a position he assumed in 2013. In that role, he was responsible for the Alcoa Power and Propulsion and Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions businesses.
Eric has also served as President of Alcoa Titanium and Engineered Products and President of Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions, positions he assumed in 2015 and 2009, respectively. Eric joined Alcoa in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer of Alcoa’s Global Engineered Products business, before being named President of Alcoa's Global Hard Alloy Extrusions business at the beginning of 2007.
Jan Palán is a junior researcher, who is mainly interested in development of Ultra Fine Grained materials. Nowadays, he intensively develops the continuous extrusion technology (CONFORM SPD) for an ultra high strength Titanium wires with nano grained microstructure. He is also a PhD student.
Alexander V. Alexandrov has graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. Now A. Alexandrov is a leading research engineer of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory (CSRL) in JSC «Chepetsky Mechanical Plant». His seniority is 33 years. A. Alexandrov is engaged in scientific researches in the processes of industrial fabrication. He is a participant of international conferences, a co-author of the articles in scientific and technical journals and a co-author of 21 patents in the field of metallurgy of zirconium, niobium, hafnium and titanium and their alloys.
As Retech’s Director of New Product Development, Mr. Haun heads up Retech’s developmental efforts in the company’s R&D programs where he is responsible for management of all aspects of product development. Mr. Haun has 9 years of experience as Retech’s Research & Development Manager. He also spent 4 years as a Titanium Research Engineer for Crucible Research in Pittsburg, PA. He was responsible for titanium powder production and the successful development of a cold wall induction nozzle. Mr. Haun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, and a Master of Science in Materials Science from University of Illinois.
Bert has been involved in many of the aspects of the LFW implementation:- Innovation strategies, - Process development, - Machine design and manufacture, - New products introduction, - Production and manufacturing improvements, - Quality monitoring, - Product life cycle.
Marko Bosman has an MSc degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Delft and has extensive experience in the field of aerospace materials and manufacturing technology. He started his career at AKZO-Nobel doing research on high performance fibers. After that he worked on biomedical materials at Degussa AG. Since 1999 he has worked at Fokker as a Project Leader in several aerospace design-and-build projects, both military and civil programs, and also as a Manufacturing Manager. As a Technology Manager within Fokker, he coordinates the R&D and innovation activities in additive manufacturing.
Pedrum Sodouri completed his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 2004 at University of Victoria (UVIC), in Victoria, British Columbia. His specializations include computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, fuel cell technology and cryogenic engineering. Having a passion for the aerospace industry he began his work experience in the aerospace industry during his university career, in a tier 1 supplier in San Diego, California. Upon completion of his degree at UVIC he continued his work experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry in southern California, gaining a diversified portfolio of experience in all facets of aerospace manufacturing for commercial and military platforms. In February 2011 Pedrum joined Norsk Titanium AS to support the Rapid Plasma Deposition ™ Technology Maturity Level to commercial level.
Katja Staartjes is one of the most successful
mountaineers in the Netherlands. She has climbed a number of peaks
higher than 8,000 metres. She was the first Dutch woman to climb Mount
Everest (8,848 m), and together with Henk Wesselius, the first Dutch
mountaineers to climb Gasherbrum 1 (8068 m) and the fore-summit of
Manaslu (8140 m). In 2013 they completed the full Upper Great Himalaya
Trail of 1600 kilometres through the Nepalese Himalayas. Katja Staartjes
inspires organisations as a keynote speaker with her powerfull
experiences and photos. She draws clear parallels between
mountain-climbing and familiar – often equally challenging – issues from
daily life. Katja has fulfilled different senior management roles and
currently works as a trainer and coach. She is the author of three
books, one of them has been translated into English under the title Peak
In june 2015, Katja has
been nominated as Nepal Goodwill Ambassador by the Nepalese government,
together with 16 other international mountaineers, like Reinhold
Messner, Jamling Tenzing, Peter Hillary, Ralf Dujmovits and Edurne
Pasaban, to stimulate tourism in the country and helping to rebuild the
Vincent Rocco is the Product Manager for Alloys and Powders for Ametek Reading Alloys. Reading Alloys is a leading producer of master alloys and titanium powders serving primarily the titanium, super alloy, and medical industries. He oversees the global sales and marketing of master alloys and high purity titanium powders and has been with Reading Alloys since 2015.
Prior to joining Reading Alloys, Mr. Rocco spent 5 years with Evraz Stratcor as Sales Manager for Master Alloys where he directed the global sales of vanadium and non-vanadium products to the titanium industry. Mr. Rocco began his career as an Aerospace Engineer with Orbital Sciences Corporation in 1989 and was involved in several programs associated with the initial Strategic Defense Initiative (aka “Star Wars”) efforts.
He then started his career in metals with the Continuous Casting group of SMS GMBH, a major metallurgical equipment engineering company and then spent 9 years with SKF USA in sales, sales engineering, and product management focused primarily in the metals industry.
Mr. Rocco earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and also has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. He also completed an executive education program at Skolkovo, Moscow School of Management.
