ANSYS FEA for Engineering Students (Free)
This is a free introductory course specifically meant for students in North America engineering schools. It is spread over two sessions of two hours each. It will specially benefit students that have purchased or intend to purchase ANSYS ACADEMIC STUDENT (ANSYS’ student product)**
In Session 1, the training will focus on ANSYS DesignModeler, meshing of structural parts & the basics of Workbench Mechanical for FEA. In Session 2, training will deal with contact with more than one body, linked thermal and structural analyses, more load types, and modal analysis. In this training we will cover the following contents:
Session 1 & session 2 will be covered on two separate days (see schedule)
**ANSYS Student Product is currently only available to students in eligible US schools
This course is intended for students who have little or no experience with ANSYS Mechanical. The course will teach users how to do FEA analyses in ANSYS Mechanical. New users of the software should register for the training course.
