Summary

This one-day seminar aims to ensure nurses and midwives:

  • Understand anti-discrimination law and how it relates to NSW Health policies and practices 
  • Understand how to behave appropriately in the workplace  
  • Are able to identify behavior which constitutes unlawful harassment and bullying 
  • Are able to identify the cost of bullying 
  • Understand what they can do if subjected to unlawful harassment and bullying and how to use workplace grievance procedures
  • Helps managers and supervisors identify, prevent and resolve bullying and harassment and understand why bullying occurs
