"No Show" Policy

The Tampa Bay Chapter of CFE has had a "no show policy" (that is making a reservation, but failing to attend) for dinner meetings for several years. With a new venue for our dinner meetings, we had to sign a new contract with a hotel that has different billing rules. On the Friday prior to the meeting, we have to provide the hotel a guaranteed number of attendees for the dinner meeting. We will also have to pay that Friday before the meeting for that guaranteed number. Therefore, the NO SHOW POLICY for the 2016-2017 chapter year is as follows:

"No Show" is defined as not attending a meeting after making a reservation and not canceling the reservation by NOON on the Friday before the dinner meeting.

New Policy relating to Payment of Dinner Meetings - Dinner meetings must be paid for by NOON on Friday in order for a member to receive the member rate of $35.00.  After noon on Friday, the rate will be increased to $40.00 for both members and non-members.  The hotel will be charging us additional fees for adding to our guaranteed number; therefore, we will be passing this fee onto the members that sign up and/or pay after NOON on the Friday before the dinner meeting.
