Private docent led tour of the JOHN F. PETO STUDIO MUSEUM

This art museum is also a historic preservation site, housed within the home and studio of John F. Peto (1854-1907), the renowned 19th century American still life painter and master of trompe l’oeil.

Showcasing the current show: “Through the Lens” John F. Peto and the Art of Photography. Featuring over 70 images of early photographic works from the collections of the Smithsonian Archive of American Art, Brandywine River Museum of Art, Hagley Museum and Library, Library Company of Philadelphia, and John F. Peto Studio Museum.

Tour of local Island Heights artist’s studios
Ocean County Artist Guild will be open from 1-4 pm
Island Heights Cultural and Heritage Museum will be open from 1-4pm
