You are invited to attend a free ARIN on the Road event in Oklahoma City, OK that will take place on Thursday, 8 December 2016. Please plan on joining us for a great day of networking and education. We'll even give you lunch. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.
ARIN on the Road events provide the latest from ARIN covering everything from requesting IP addresses and Autonomous System numbers (ASNs) from ARIN and the status of IPv6 adoption, to current policy discussions and ARIN technical services.
Have questions about how to interact with ARIN's online services? We'll get you up to speed and solicit discussion topics in case there is something you want to know that isn't on the agenda. Stick around for the optional Ask ARIN session and speak one-on-one with an ARIN staff member about requesting and managing IP addresses and ASNs, technical developments, or policy issues.
Seeking "Test Drivers"!
We want you to test-drive new functionality and improvements underway in ARIN Online. Your time is critical in helping us make our applications user–friendly. Meet with our specialist, either before or after the main program, for a 5- to 15-minute private session. You will use a development version of ARIN Online where you can’t make a mistake and no real data is harmed. This is a great chance to preview the app, including features yet to be released. To participate, be sure to indicate on your online registration that you are interested in participating in test driving. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to sign up. All the other users of ARIN Online thank you for your service!
Spend the morning getting up to speed on ARIN's mission and services while receiving timely information about life after IPv4 depletion and DNSSEC.
At midday, we'll provide lunch and an opportunity to network with other attendees.
In the afternoon, the program will include information about the policy development process within the ARIN community and how you can start participating today! There will also be information on route origin security with RPKI, the status and forecast of IPv6 adoption and ARIN Services & Tools.
The day will conclude with an open microphone question and answer session, followed by a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card for those who complete a short survey about the event. User testing will also take place in the afternoon for those that signed up during the registration process.
