THE 2017 ARNOLD T. BELL SPORTS SYMPOSIUM

The Symposium addresses state of the art surgical, rehabilitation and return to play practices as they relate to athletic injuries. The overall program for the symposium reflects a diverse array of evidence-informed perspectives, presented by PT faculty, therapists and athletic trainers to attract participants at all levels of sports- high school to professional.

Course Objectives:

 At the completion of this symposium, the participant should be able to:

  • Identify the anatomy of the UE, and common pathologies.
  • Discuss joint sprains, tears and grading.
  • Understand the occurrence populations and frequencies for UE injuries.
  • Discuss therapy interventions for treatment of UE athletic injuries.
  • Discuss and detail rehabilitation options and goals for UE athletic injuries.
