Assistive Technology services are greatly underutilized with infants and toddlers in Colorado as well as on a national level. This training will focus on addressing this important challenge, and will lay the foundation for a new state-wide effort in EI. This 4-hour training will provide EI service coordinators and providers with an opportunity to gain a broader understanding of this important resource in early intervention, as well as to learn about a new model of AT service delivery in Colorado. The training is required for EI providers who want to become EI AT Consultants for their local CCB(s), but service coordinators and other providers are highly encouraged to attend. It will also be a precursor to a web training for the AT Consultants only. This training will offer a great opportunity for learning about resources for AT evaluation, funding, device loans, documentation and service provision. Those who attend will also be able to problem solve and network with other EI service providers and service coordinators.*Certificates of Attendance verifying four professional development hours will be granted upon completion of this training.
