Phil Sanford has used his background in finance and executive leadership to lead several large U.S. corporations. Currently, Phil serves as principal and founder of Port Royal Holdings, LLC, a privately held real estate and investment company. He also serves as a member of the board of advisors and an advisory partner to Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital Funds, as well as a member of the board of directors of Image Skincare. He is also an advisor to N3 Results and member of the executive committee.
Over the past three decades, Brother Sanford has led large corporations headquartered in the US with global business reach. He has served as Executive Vice President for Commerce Union Bank early in his career then Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Johnston Coca-Cola Bottling Group in Chattanooga, TN. He then moved to Atlanta, GA in 1985 to serve as one of four Executive Officers of Coca-Cola Enterprises, the largest Coca Cola bottler in the world. He left Coca-Cola in 1997 and led a group that purchased The Krystal Company where he served as Chairman and CEO. In 2009, he led a one-year turnaround of Value Place Hotels and from 2010-2014, he served as president and CEO of Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, the nation’s second largest tax preparation company with 6,000 offices in all 50 states.
Phil has also served as a member of the Boards of Directors of Caribou Coffee, the 2nd largest coffeehouse chain in the US and Chattem, Inc., a $1.2 billion multi-brand, publicly traded health and beauty company.
