Baby Steps and Building Blocks: Infant/Toddler Child Development

Summary

Professionals in the field of early intervention require foundational knowledge of how child development unfolds in the first three years of life. This four-part linked series is designed to enhance participants' knowledge of infant/toddler development and to strengthen practices related to supporting families' understanding and implementation of developmentally appropriate, responsive interactions throughout daily routines and activities.

Those newer to the world of infants and toddlers with delays and/or disabilities may find this series to be an essential tool in your work with children and families. Professionals who have been supporting children and families for many years can benefit from this series by revisiting and refreshing their knowledge of infant/toddler development and practices for promoting development.
