STAY TUNED - We will send out a separate email when airline tickets and the hotel reservations open. Team Grayson has contracted a discounted rate for your convenience!

Passport Validity: In order to enter Berlin your passport must be valid for at least six months before and after the marathon. If you have any questions about your passport please let us know on the Contact Us page of this website.

On Travel Day: If you encounter significant flight interruptions or delays and find that your travel itinerary cannot be met as planned, please call HMS Global Solutions at 888-654-8629 ext. 802 to inform us of your flight change. If you are at the airport, please see a gate agent right away and then call us as well. If changing the itinerary within 24 hours please contact the airline to assist in changing the reservation, you will be subject to all airline change fees (can vary from $150-$250 depending on the airline) and difference in fare. Once you have done this please contact HMSGS with the new flight details so that we can coordinate transfers and advise the hotel. If changing the itinerary outside of 24 hours please contact HMSGS to assist in changing the reservation, you will be subject to all airline change fees (can vary from $150-$250 depending on the airline) and difference in fare.

Luggage Travel Tip: We all know that sometimes luggage takes a short detour. Try “Togetherness Packing” with his and her clothes in each bag, rather than separate bags for each of you. If a bag is delayed, it becomes an inconvenience you share, not a disaster for one of you.

Transfers: Transportation will be provided to/from the airport/hotel by GATI Hospitality staff and will be waiting outside after you have collected your luggage at the luggage carousel and continue to the Exit. They will be holding a sign with the Action Duchenne Logo.

Average Temperature for Berlin in October: The month of October is characterized by daily cool temperatures, with daily highs at about 49ºF over the course of the month with an expected low of approximately 43ºF

Clothing: Casual winter wear can be worn during the day any time of the year, but be sure to bring a jacket or sweater for occasional cooler evenings. Hotel restaurants do not allow beachwear to be worn. Be sure to bring adequate wear.

Personal Expenses: Action Duchenne has planned a complete program. At your expensive you may charge laundry, 800 telephone calls, and personal purchases. The hotel will maintain a personal account for you and will request your credit card at check-in. Please settle this account before departure.
