José es licenciado en Matématicas por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona y MBA por IE Business School. Ha conjugado su carrera profesional en el ámbito de los servicios y la consultoría TI, siendo anteriormente Business Intelligence Area Manager, con la divulgación y la educación siendo profesor tanto en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona como en la Universidad Oberta de Catalunya como participando en diversas publicaciones de ámbito nacional e internacional.

Dan Vesset is Program Vice President of IDC's Business Analytics research. Mr. Vesset’s research and consulting is currently focused on business analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing software markets. Mr. Vesset is also the co-lead of IDC's Big Data research. He has authored numerous research publications, is a frequent speaker at business analytics conferences and seminars worldwide, contributes to IDC’s Business Analytics and Big Data blog, and tweets at @danvesset.

Mr. Vesset has been published and quoted in numerous business and industry publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Computerworld, and CIO. Mr. Vesset has over 15 years experience as a user, implementer, and analyst of business intelligence software at companies such as Deloitte Consulting and State Street Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Vesset earned an MS degree in MIS and an MBA from Boston University and BS degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College.
