Social Media is Like a Box of Chocolates!
    Alberta Room

You never know what you’re going to get with social media. It seems as though each month a new social media platform becomes popular. With advice and suggestions from news media, friends, colleagues, and “experts” in the marketplace, how does a leader know which social media platforms will work for their business?

When considering incorporating social into your marketing mix, how can one ensure their marketing dollars are being used effectively and bring a return on investment? In today’s “always connected” marketplace, how can one use other marketing initiatives together with social media to move the needle?

Cut through the clutter in this engaging social media session to get a handle on what platforms make the most sense for your business and industry. Get answers and strategies on how to choose, grow and engage your audience(s) with social, defining standards of engagement for your team, potential pitfalls of social (and how to avoid), and how to correctly measure your success.

Join Jason Vance in this classroom meets boardroom presentation covering tips, strategies and tactics on making social make sense. Jason has worked with 1000+ organizations helping them solve their marketing and communications challenges. Community Wellbeing: A Framework for the Built Environment
    Alberta Room

“Health” has increasingly become the new “wealth”. People, families, communities, strive to lead healthier lifestyles and live in healthier environments. This impetus is palpable in all sectors, from consumer goods to services. The building industry, however, has struggled to catch up.

Embracing this challenge, the Conference Board of Canada teamed up with DIALOG and a multi-sectoral collaboration of builders and professionals to develop research on the link between the wellbeing of communities and the built environment. The resulting Framework provides guidance to the development industry on how to meaningfully improve community wellbeing, by addressing physical health, mental health, social wellbeing, as well as economic, socio/cultural, political, and environmental indicators.
