Which meals are included with the conference?
The conference will host:
Monday: Welcome Reception with drinks and light buffet
Tuesday: Breakfast, refreshment breaks, lunch and Appreciation Party with drinks and light buffet
Wednesday: Breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch
May I bring a guest?
Guest passes may be purchased for an additional $150. With this pass, guests will only have access to the Welcome Reception on Monday evening and the Appreciation Party on Tuesday evening.
How many attendees do you expect this year?
We anticipate approximately 400 attendees at this year's conference. We welcome customers, partners and invited prospective customers. Register early to secure your event and hotel registration!
Why are prospective customers invited to the conference?
We invite a select number of qualified prospective customers to our conference so they can experience the buzz and learn about Birst directly from our customers, partners, and employees.
How do I book my hotel?
Booking a reservation at the Palace Hotel will be included as a step in the conference registration process.
Are there discounted hotel rates available?

How do I make changes to my registration?

If I cannot attend, may I send someone in place?
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another member of your organization by sending an email to
with the names and email addresses of the original and substitute registrants.
Are there penalties for cancelling my registration?
A $150 processing fee will be charged for cancelling on or before April 15, 2017 11:59 PM PST. Refunds will not be offered after April 15, 2017.
How can I cancel my hotel reservation?
Cancellations must be requested in writing to
and must be received no later than 6:00 PM PST two days prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid penalty of one night stay plus applicable taxes.
Which airport should I fly into?
Major airlines fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). SFO is about 30 minutes from the Palace Hotel by car. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is about 60 minutes via car to the Palace Hotel. Public transportation including BART, is available for both airports. Cancellation or change of travel reservations are the sole responsibility of the delegate.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided to and from airports and train stations.
Is there a dress code for the conference?
The dress code for Birst
2017 is business casual. We do not host any formal business or social networking functions. While we do our best to control the temperature in session rooms, we recommend that you bring a removable layer for your comfort.
What is the typical weather in late April?
Spring weather in San Francisco is typically mild, although it can be unpredictable. Average temperatures range from highs of 63°F (17°C) to lows of 49°F (9°C). Bring layers of clothing and an umbrella to accommodate potentially chilly or rainy weather.
