EVENT DESCRIPTION: This advanced course will discuss some of the more advanced challenges that a certified fit specialist is faced with today. Topics include: fitting techniques for lumpectomies, reconstruction, larger cup and/or band sizes, and other hard to fit situations. Participants will also learn about lymphedema; surgery trends; and most up-to-date treatments; discuss medical detailing and experience how a patient is navigated through a hospital.
Amoena Fit Specialist Educational Courses are approved educational programs. If you are already BOC certified and/or ABCOP registered, you will recieve 8 BOC and/or 7.5 ABCOP Continuing Professional Education units for attending these courses.
A certification by BOC and/or ABCOP is required to attend an advanced course.
POLICIES AND INFORMATION:
Class size is limited to 30, so please register early. Each seminar begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Lunch is provided during the midday hour break. The seminar adjourns at approximately 5:00 p.m. The $90 per person fee includes all materials, breakfast and lunch. The course fee is refundable up to 72 hours prior to the course date. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for confirmed cancellations 3 business days prior to the course date. A $90 per person fee will be charged for no-shows.

Please be sure you know your ABC/BOC certification numbers so that you can write them on the corresponding sign in sheets at the seminar in order to recieve your credits.
