Question: Should I bring my laptop?
Answer: YES!!!  Internet access will be available for all.
Question: If I am able to bring others with me, can they register at the conference?
Answer: Yes, certainly. We'll have onsite registration beginning at 7:30am on Wednesday, Nov 9th. Online registration will also be available until noon on Fri. Nov 11th.
Question: How can I find out about sessions at BIT17?

The Keynote and regular sessions will be posted online in a variety of formats (website, pdfs, Cvent registration system) leading up to the conference. During the conference you may view sessions on our Mobile website, on your handheld device, or on Displays around the conference area. Our sessions are posted here and your registration contains the selections you made. Your selections can be viewed or changed by signing-in here.

Question: How do I select/change the sessions that I want to attend?
Answer: This year, we ask you to indicate which optional sessions you might like to attend (e.g. Minds on Media, Social Events) but other sessions will be open for you to go to as you please. If you need to change your registration, you will receive a confirmation that will allow you to login later and modify your registration.
Question: What is the twitter hashtag?

We'll be using #bit17. You can even start using it now!

Question: What kind of exhibit area will there be?
Answer: We'll have a huge exhibit area where you can see new hardware, new software, and speak to the experts who can help you see how technology connects to your classroom practice.
Question: Why should I book a room at the Conference hotel?

It really helps us to keep our costs down if our delegates book their hotel room at one of the conference hotels.  Please go to the Conference website at: for details on Hotels and special BIT rates.

Question: What should I do if I have a special dietary consideration?
Answer: You'll have a chance during registration to indicate whether you have any special dietary needs, or if you need our assistance to help with mobility, hearing or visual needs as well.
