In Montana, developing a qualified workforce consistently arises as the number one challenge for for-profit and nonprofit employers alike.  And the challenge is made more daunting for nonprofits because not only do we need employees, we also need skilled board members. Whether organizations are struggling to attract new staff and board members, trying to build leaders for the future, or simply want to improve the dynamics or culture in their workplace – this session covers the bases.

From managing multiple generations in the workplace to evaluating HR policies, easing communication tensions to developing career pathways, prioritizing work/life balance, and leveraging a cause-oriented workplace, seasoned nonprofit leaders will gain an understanding of how they can best position their organization to be a top choice for prospective board and staff members while new recruits will learn how to effectively contribute to a dynamic team.

This workshop will focus on Leadership, Change, Individual Strengths, and Communication as aspects of the nonprofit culture and structure that can be leveraged to attract, retain, train, and be the best nonprofit staff and board members possible.
