Business Education and Growth Plans for Architects
Architects, like other small business owners, start their business because they have a passion for our profession, not because they know how to run a business. We know how to do the architecture work, but not necessarily how best to manage and grow a business. Most of us do not have the luxury of taking the time to get an MBA to learn what we need to know about business. So, once your firm is established, how do you take it to the next level? How can you learn the skills necessary to make your firm flourish, not just survive?
One of the resources available to architects and other small businesses is the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses training. In this program, you will hear from several architects that have used this program to create and implement business growth plans. Participants will be introduced to the business fundamentals of business growth, including: growth strategies, financials, firm culture and scaling operations.
