We are pleased to announce the opening of registration for the 2017 Calf & Heifer Congress to be held at the Doubletree Inn in East Syracuse, N.Y.  Our theme this year is “Rising Above the Challenges”.

The conference will feature two topics of particular interest in the world of dairy replacements – heifer reproduction and Salmonella dublin. In addition, heifer growth strategies, economics of the heifer enterprise, vaccines and immunity, the microbiome and calf disease management will be covered.

The Congress will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday (12/6) concluding with a reception at 5:30 PM. Dinner will be on your own this year. An informal evening discussion with speakers is planned from 8:00 – 9:00 PM.

The second conference day (Thursday 12/7) will begin with a complimentary hot buffet breakfast and informative presentation at 6:30 AM. Our breakfast sponsor Milk Specialties Global will host a talk titled “Calf Feeding Strategies to Overcome Health Issues”.

Note: Applications for ARPAS/CEU credits for Professional Animal Scientists, NYS Education Department Continuing Education and national RACE credits for veterinarians we be applied for. It is expected that approval and CE credit allocations will be received by late October. Materials pertinent to receiving credits will be available at the registration desk during the Congress.
