Campus Crime Prevention Training at California State University Northridge

The Campus Crime Prevention curriculum was designed by the National Crime Prevention Council and college crime prevention practitioners to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to lead crime prevention services for their university and campus and to foster relationships with partners and necessary personnel to enable their crime prevention plan to be successful. It will provide the latest information, tools, and resources in the area of campus crime prevention including best practices in college crime prevention, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) strategies; security surveys; campus crime prevention programs such as assaults and violence, drugs and alcohol, and sexual crimes; community policing strategies; resident hall and student housing security; civility; and available crime prevention resources.
