Cancellations and substitutions must be submitted to MAVA in writing to the registration manager either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax to 703-506-9080.Presenting Company Application Processing FeesApplication processing fees for Capital Connection ’12 are not refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellations: Capital Connection will refund 100% of the registration fee for cancellations received in writing by MAVA by April 6th, less a $50 administrative processing fee. Capital Connection will refund 50% of the registration fee for cancellations received in writing by MAVA by May 1st, less a $50 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 1st to paid registrants who do not attend all or any portion of the conference. Refunds for cancellations will be made within 30 business days from notification.
Coverage of Registrations: Registrations are for the duration of the full one and one- half day conference. No ticket sharing is permitted nor are single-day passes offered. If any registrant is found to be sharing a ticket or using the badge of another registrant, that individual will be charged for a second full registration fee, at the walk-in rate, to cover the cost of a second registration.
Substitutions: Should you be unable to attend Capital Connection, you may transfer your registration in its entirety to another member of your company with approval from MAVA. Transfer requests must be received in writing by MAVA and include the full name, title and organization of the person to whom the registration will be transferred. Transfers are limited to individuals who would otherwise register at with the same rate (as the same type of entity) of the original registrant.
Transfer requests received by May 1st will be processed at no charge.
Transfer requests received between May 2nd and May 22nd will require payment of a $50 processing fee.
If you are unable to meet these deadlines, you must send an email to the MAVA registration manager email@example.com indicating your designated substitute. Furthermore, your substitute must bring a printed copy of your registration confirmation email to the onsite Capital Connection registration location to receive your conference materials and admission pass. At this point, your substitute will be required to pay the $50 processing fee.
On Site transfers will NOT be accepted onsite without a printed copy of the confirmation email, a copy of the email indicating intent to transfer, and payment of the $50 processing fee.
