2) Lighting and Controls Seminar with Bob Preston and Mark Lien

Cost: $99 early bird price, $139 after August 21

LED lighting is here to stay. And it’s taken hold faster than any lighting product since the invention of the incandescent lamp. But there is still much uncertainty about how best to use this new technology and take full advantage of the energy saving and performance benefits that LED offers.

This educational seminar will delve into topics such as lumen equivalency when comparing LED to traditional lighting (and how this informs your choices), color tuning and the potential human impacts of LED, how lighting controls are changing the way we think about the spaces we live and work in while providing even more enhanced savings, and specific things to look for when evaluating LED products including the importance of warranties.

This seminar is led by two experts in the lighting industry: Robert A. Preston, LC (Lighting & Energy Specialist with CapitalTristate) and Mark Lien, LC, IES (Industry Relations Manager with the Illuminating Engineering Society). Learn how to make better and more informed choices when considering and using LED lighting at what will be a highly informative and engaging seminar.
