Would you like to present at the CCE 2019 Event in Redmond, WA, on April 7 - 9, 2019?

Here’s what you need to know:

All sessions are vetted for acceptance by Cengage. Multiple submissions are allowed. The submission deadline was 5:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Accepted presentations will be notified on November 26, 2018.

Cengage invites proposals that demonstrate innovative pedagogy, new technology or other ways to improve Computing education at the undergraduate level. The focus of this conference is on “doing,” rather than “reporting.” We invite proposals in the following areas: Programming, IT/Networking, Trends in Tech, and Intro Computing/Office/Concepts.

Conference sessions last one hour, and presenters will have the entire session. Proposals should be detailed so it’s clear how that time will be used. They should make it clear what the goals of the session will be, and how it will help attendees become more effective educators. All sessions will be in lecture format, with no hands-on or lab presentations.

Submissions must include:

  • A description of 200 words or less explaining the presentation

  • Ways in which conference participants will benefit from attending the session in said description

  • Contact information for all presenters

If your proposal is accepted, your registration fee will be waived, you will receive complimentary hotel for the nights of April 7, 8 and 9 and your airfare will be paid up to $450.
