This course focuses on strengthening implementation of CDBG through increased understanding of financial management and procurement guidance and improved compliance with rules and standards. Attendees will learn about: CDBG planning and administration, financial management standards, procurement, Federal Cost Principles, financial analysis and project specific requirements, monitoring, audits and reporting requirements. The course provides attendees with a practical overview of complex financial and compliance issues.
