All dental practitioners who have chosen to invest in WaterLase technology desiring the opportunity to maximize the utilization of their dental laser and their return on investment


Course Overview:


This two-day lecture and hands-on training course will include: instructor guided setup and explanation of the ErCr:YSGG laser parameters, laser ablation of extracted human teeth, as well as pig jaw surgical hands-on exercises supplemented with clinical videos and case presentations. Anecdotal and science resources will be utilized to set reasonable clinical expectations for the new laser dentist. Incorporating laser technology into a practice will be introduced considering marketing, patient acceptance, and third party relations.


Course Objectives:



  • Develop a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of laser physics and their clinical impact to both hard and soft tissue in dental surgical procedures.

  • Explore the various adjustable parameters and versatility of WaterLase technology and their clinical effects on soft and hard tissue.

  • Learn the necessary daily routines to insure proper laser function while remaining efficient with clinical time management.

  • Receive advice from an experienced clinician with respect to managing supply cost, laser supply management, patient treatment acceptance, and practice integration.
