CGA-IGC Webinar Series Three: Inherited GI Cancers

The CGA-IGC Education Committee is pleased to announce the 2021 webinar series about inherited GI cancers!

Dr. Ulrike “Riki” Peters, a molecular and genetic epidemiologist, is Associate Director of the Public Health Sciences Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Her research focuses on the genetic epidemiology of colorectal cancer as well as the impact of race and ethnicity on underlying genetic risk factors for common, complex diseases.
 

The webinar is FREE to all CGA members.

Genetic Counselor CEUs: This event has been submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of Category 1 CEUs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending.

Once approved, genetic counselors interested in obtaining NSGC CEU credits will be able to pay a one-time bundled fee of $25.00 for the entire series.  If you are not able to attend the live event, you can access the webinar online afterwards and still claim CEUs.
