Where have we been in the past year? Where do you think the industry is going? Do you think you know where things will end up in the coming years? Our panel will share their experiences and where they think things are going, and how they plan to deal with those challenges? (some you may not even be aware of yet!)
Why not attend this event and see if your vision of the benefits future matches with other and, if not, are you being left in the dark?
Our panel with share their thoughts on; the direction of the benefits business, insurers and TPA's, the future of group MGA's, benefit specialization, technology, cross industry partnerships, direct and internet sales and the commoditization of the business. Our brokers will share their biggest challenges and how they overcame them as well as their recent accomplishments.
Our panel includes brokers that range from being licensed for 5 years to those well over 20 years experience. Some with past lives on the insurer side and others that have worked fro brokerages before going out on their own. All have different routes and reasons for entering this business and all are headed in slightly different directions.
Nick Acocella of ProBenefits Consulting Inc. will moderate the discussion. Be sure to bring your questions.
The Ontario Trillium Drug Program - a Refresher & Important NEW information
Menzies Jardine - Senior Manager - Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care
The presentation will review how you can help your clients (and their employees) get help with high cost prescription-drugs (compared to household income) when they qualify for the Trillium Drug Program (TDP).
Menzies will help you understand how one qualifies and applies for the TDP, what they will pay (deductible) and explain the process itself. She will also explain what the program is and is NOT and the why it is not a replacement for private insurance.
We will also get an update on the upcoming changes to the Trillium claims process, the modernization of the Exceptional Access Program (EAP) and the other initiatives being undertaken that will update the TDP and aid in co-ordination with private payers.
3.0 CE Credits will be provided to those who attend the entire presentation.
