Course Description

This 2.5-day symposium will provide up-to-date information to clinicians involved in the care of patients with breast or thoracic cancers. Speakers are nationally and internationally renowned clinicians and researchers who will share their expertise and foster discussion of the most recent multidisciplinary advances in screening, pathology, surgery, radiology, medical oncology, chemotherapy, novel targeted therapies, immunotherapies, genetics and palliative care.

Far-ranging areas of consensus and controversy will be presented and discussed with a goal that attendees leave with state-of-the-art knowledge of cancer care for breast and thoracic malignancies.

Intended Audience

This course will benefit health care providers who provide care to breast and/or thoracic cancer patients, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pulmonologists, general practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, oncology pharmacists, fellows, and other clinical trainees.
