Martyn Dodd of EnergySoft, LLC will discuss residential and non-residential building envelope, lighting & mechanical requirements affecting residential, commercial and high rise-residential new construction under California’s 2016 Title-24 Energy Efficiency Standards scheduled to take effect January 1, 2017. Attend this program to learn how the latest version of the Standards will affect building design in your commercial and residential new construction projects. Mr. Dodd will highlight aspects of the Standards that are new for the 2016 implementation. Changes for the 2016 Standards cover all areas of the code so this will be an important introduction for all disciplines. This class is approved for 3.5 hours of AIA HSW LEUs. Parking will be limited; therefore, we highly encourage alternative transportation such as Regional Transit or carpooling. There is a Regional Transit Light Rail station within one block of the SMUD building (University/65th Street Station); please see www.sacrt.com for a current schedule. For those traveling by personal vehicle, we have parking available directly across from the Customer Service Center Building located at 6301 S Street or you may use street parking.
