On-campus housing is available in Lauterbur Hall in the Nobel Halls, Stony Brook's most recently opened housing community.
The Nobels feature 6 person, double occupancy rooms in a suite style arrangement. Each suite has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a common living room area. They are fully furnished and include a bed, dresser, desk, lighting and storage space for each occupant. All rooms include both wireless and wired internet access as well as cable TV with nearly 80 basic and premium channels available. Linens (top and bottom sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and facecloths) are included.
Each room is climate controlled with in-room heating and air conditioning units and motion sensor lights.
