This conference/workshop is a joint meeting of EPRI’s Fish Protection Research Program and its Ohio River Ecological Research Program (ORERP). The meeting will provide an opportunity to investigate 316(b) implementation issues for power plants on the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers and their tributaries. This meeting follows the successful EPRI national conference on §316(b) held November 2015 in Charlotte, NC.
This meeting will be the second in a series of EPRI meetings that focus on §316(b) implementation issues for power plants in specific water bodies. The first meeting focused on power plants on the Great Lakes and was held August 9-10, 2016 at AEP’s DC Cook Nuclear Station in Bridgeman, MI. Future meetings will focus on Mississippi/Missouri rivers and estuaries.
Who Should Attend: This conference is for funders of EPRI’s Fish Protection Program and ORERP. Funders are welcome to invite their consultants, and regulatory and resource agency personnel involved in the §316(b) BTA determination process. Non-members can attend as presenters based on selection of technical papers chosen by the organizing committee. If attendance space is available after March 1, 2017, non-members can attend at fee ($1,000).
