This workshop focuses on the practical application of proven coaching tools and techniques, with attention to their theoretical underpinnings. Participants in this workshop gain in-depth, hands-on experience in: goal-setting, authentic tools and methodologies, coaching instruments, client approaches, and how to work with challenges or dilemmas. Attendees emerge with the knowledge and skills needed to improve their coaching.
Key Learnings:
Attending Coaching Tools and Techniques will empower you with: - Knowledge on how to contract (including with third parties), establish, modify, and evaluate progress on client goals
- An outline of the coaching process
- A wide range of proven coaching tools and methodologies—including cognitive, behavioral, humanistic and other approaches; physical awareness techniques; follow-up assignments; and use of instruments
- A framework for determining when to apply a particular tool or methodology
- A consultative process for working with a coaching challenge or dilemma
DAILY SCHEDULE:
Registration begins at 8:30, and the laboratory runs daily from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Continental breakfast, lunch, and snack breaks are provided.
