COMPREHENSIVE HANDS-ON COURSE
Recent developments in digital technology in implant dentistry now enable surgeons and prosthodontists to plan and place dental implants with significantly increased safety, accuracy and predictability and with a specific reconstructive and aesthetic outcome in mind. Dr Tim Joda from Switzerland and Dr Craig Parker from the UK are widely accepted as authorities in this field. Computer-assisted surgery is an advanced technique and therefore this course is aimed at skilled practitioners who want to use digital technology to take their dental implantology to another level.
• To understand how information from cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) can be utilised most effectively to plan dental implant treatment
• To understand intraoral scanning (digital impressions) and its application in implant dentistry for surgical and prosthetic protocols
• To be able to use computer-assisted surgery effectively in the appropriate circumstances to improve outcomes in dental implantology
• Hands-on training in both digital planning software and computer-assisted surgery techniques.
