PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Cole Eye Institute Imaging Summit will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2017, prior to the annual meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) in Boston, Massachusetts.  This accredited CME symposium will discuss trends in optical imaging and the effective use of imaging technologies in clinical practice. Promising new, investigational imaging techniques and applications will be reviewed. The one-day symposium will be coordinated by MCME Global, Inc., along with Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare, Inc. (AKH) on behalf of the Cole Eye Institute Cleveland Clinic. The Summit will be composed of didactic and case-based presentations along with interactive imaging sessions directed by well-established key opinion leaders in the field. Discussion sessions, some directed, will be incorporated into each section to address outstanding knowledge gaps and maximize learning.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

•  Assess and prioritize the implementation of new imaging technologies 
•  Use ophthalmic imaging technology appropriately based on imaging capabilities, patient factors, and practice efficiencies
•  Quantify imaging assessments to optimize patient care
•  Employ imaging technologies to diagnosis challenging presentations
