ARTIST IN RESIDENCE Only available at the Art Institute of California-Hollywood, a campus of Argosy University
Artists in Residence will enjoy a 13-day/12-night immersion experience along with their College Bound course by staying at the Universal Sheraton, only a short Metro ride to/from The Art Institute of California-Hollywood. The centrally located Universal Sheraton will serve as the hub to and from cultural activities throughout Los Angeles County, a swim party, a weekend excursion to Santa Monica Pier and Beach, and to Universal Studios Theme Park and City Walk. All of this is in addition to your College Bound course and portfolio development opportunity on campus.
All lodging, meals, transportation* and activity fees are covered by our Artist in Residence Fee. Artists in residence are chaperoned by The Art Institute's staff during all organized activities.
Note: Travel costs to Hollywood, California on June 18 and departure June 30 are not included in the Artist in Residence Fee.
You will be required to make a $500 deposit now toward your reservation and additional information will be sent to you regarding specific activities, arrival and departure times, code of conduct, etc. Balance must be paid in full by June 1, 2017 to secure your place as an Artist in Residence. You will also need to submit a health questionnaire, proof of health insurance, and parental authorization form before being fully accepted into the Artist in Residence program.
