R1.03 u.select: Taking it to the Next Level for Statewide Articulation Agreements and Recruitment

From a training standpoint, we have held numerous training sessions on campus for various colleges/schools, advisors, and staff. Come and find out how CU Boulder got this far in 1 1/2 years of using u.select. We will be sharing training program and demo outlines as well as samples of our email campaign.

R4.04 The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Converting to Semesters
We are utilizing a home/self-articulation table to convert quarter course identities into semester course identities in DARS which reduces the amount of exceptions needed for requirements and sub-requirements in students' degree programs. Wright State University, offers an electronic individualized undergraduate advising plan called, "My Advising Plan (MAP)". MAPs are based on an a student's assigned Interactive Audit degree program that has utilized the course cart feature to show a student's audit as, "All Requirements Completed - In-Progress Courses Used". An advisor approved MAP helps guarantee the University’s Pledge to Students which promises that transition students will not spend additional time or money due to our conversion to a semester academic calendar.
