Comm 101: Learning on-the-job duties

Summary

When searching summer jobs, co-op work terms and entry-level communications positions, do you ever wish you had more experience with some of the requirements?

Post-secondary communications programs don’t always cover some of the essential on-the-job duties that are common in workplaces. That’s why IABC/BC is pleased to host Comm 101: Learning on-the-job duties. This is your chance to gain some valuable workplace skills, and add them to your resumé.

On Thursday, May 17, come to the offices of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC (CPABC), where three leading industry professionals will host workshops on how to create a communications plan, news release and internal communications article. Bring your laptop and writing materials. Let’s #GetWorkingInComm.
