What can we learn from Lee, Meade, Chamberlain, Reynolds and others? Using the Gettysburg battlefield as a backdrop, this workshop will augment strategic thinking skills, problem solving agility and the ability to influence and manage relationships.
Walk the battlefield with retired army general Hal Nelson of the Army War College and see how the challenges these commanders faced provide leadership lessons for the issues you deal with today. Using the leadership model, The Leadership Challenge, we will explore both your leadership style and how the generals and commanders demonstrated the five practices of exemplary leadership, including modeling the way, inspiring a vision, challenging the process, encouraging the heart and enabling others to act.
Those three days in a small Pennsylvania town in July 1863 not only impacted the results of the Civil War, they can impact how you lead your troops today! Join us as we learn from history.
