It's time for those of you who assessed in FFY2014/FFY2015 and are in your final year of the four year cycle to register for CX³ training.

Each LHD has the opportunity to send two staff to one of the trainings listed below. You will want to have at least one of the two staff be comfortable using Excel and navigating the internet for the GIS mapping training and data entry. They will be the ones to go back to the office and actually do the mapping process. The On the Ground segment is a “train the trainer” training where either staff attending the training will do the data collection or preferably will go back and train community members, youth, etc… to do the actual data collection.

We've modified our trainings this year and will be combining the trainings so you are able to avoid additional travel, complete data collection, receive analyzed data, and get started on PSE interventions much earlier. There are two trainings scheduled to choose from:

SACRAMENTO: January 30 and 31, 2018
Day 1: 1616 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95814
Day 2: **Please note revised training location for Day 2**
Office of Professional Development, California Department of Technology
10860 Gold Center Drive, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
(Suggested counties to attend: El Dorado, Inyo, Kings)

February 27 and 28, 2018
Day 1 & Day 2: 202 Mira Loma Drive, Oroville, CA 95965
(Suggested counties to attend: Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Modoc, Plumas)

staff from each local health department may attend. First come, first served with a total of 12-24 seats per training, depending on location.

Each training is two days and will cover:

Day 1: On the Ground Survey Training
Day 2: CX³ GIS Neighborhood Mapping and Data Entry
