Community Partner Project Proposal | Impact Denver Fall 2017

The Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and the Impact Denver Fall 2017 Class (July through Dec.) invite proposals from community organizations for ideas on specific, short term projects that could help your organization enhance its current work. Impact Denver is designed for Denver Metro area professionals who are interested in developing their leadership skills, learning about the region and beginning or expanding their civic involvement.
Objectives of the Impact Denver class project are to:

•Provide participants with an opportunity to practice team leadership, project planning and group management skills

  • Enable participants to develop stronger relationships with class members

         • Prepare participants for future leadership activities by creating a sense of collective impact

         • Meet a need based on an organizational or community issue

Class members will be divided into teams of approximately 8-10 participants and these teams will evaluate the proposed projects to determine which projects are best suited to the team members’ skillset and which will have the greatest opportunity for community impact. You may be contacted by the team directly for clarity on your proposed project’s goals or relevant background information. If your project is selected by a team, you will be notified no later than August 1, 2017.

Before beginning the application, please read the project proposal guidelines. Deadline for submission is Monday, July 17th, at 8am.
