This year’s Confirmation Extravaganza will examine the real history behind the reformation and not only what took place but how what Martin Luther did 500 years ago informs youth in ways that will inspire them to “Nail” their ideas of what “reforms” they want to bring back to their own congregations.
Rooted in worship, this year students will have the unique opportunity to learn about what worship was like in the pre-reformation era, have small group conversations with their congregations about what they see as needing “reform” in the church today, and celebrate worship together with over 800 other youth from across south-central Wisconsin. The event will teach how we are still reforming today and what being Lutheran really means in today’s world!
