CALL FOR ABSTRACTS IS OPEN
PARTICIPATE IN THE 1ST ANNUAL POSTER SESSION Data is undoubtedly one of the strongest driving forces in researching a particular area of concern and implementing change - but, it is not the sole source of information when considering the need or impact on the community. During the 1st Annual Poster Session, we want to see what you are doing to make an impact within your community. This can be through original research, interventions, data analysis, new programs, call to action, etc.
Deadline extended! All abstracts must now be submitted by May 1, 2018.
GENERAL INFORMATION Abstracts do not need to necessarily follow traditional poster templates but should be structured in a way that tells your story for others to learn about and appreciate your efforts. Content within the posters should be easy to follow and interpret by the general audience and is based on data/information collected from your agency. It can include original research, intervention done within your agency showing results before and after the implementation, case report/case study, or other information showing how your agency is making or can make an impact within your community.
DATES/TIMES Posters will be on display throughout Connect 2018 (Wednesday, July 18 - Friday, July 20). Authors are asked to stand by their poster at two (2) designated times of 30 minutes each during the conference to answer any questions viewers may have. ImageTrend will designate specific times for poster viewing.
AUTHORS If the poster is accepted, you will need to provide a printed 36" tall x 48" wide poster for the conference that can be mounted on display board. ImageTrend will provide all equipment necessary to display posters for presenting. Posters that have been previously presented are accepted. Contact Morgan Anderson, Epidemiologist, at manderson@imagetrend.com with any questions.
AWARDS Posters will be judged during the conference and ribbons will be awarded.
